Landinfra is investigating the possibilities of establishing a wind farm in Arvika municipality – in an area located southeast of the community of Treskog. The project is run in collaboration with landowner Stora Enso.

We are early in the process and are now working on the design of the wind farm. The area we are looking at has the potential for about ten wind turbines.

Consultations will be held with the county administrative board and the municipality in January 2024 and a public consultation is planned for spring 2024. During the spring and summer of 2024, there are plans for an inventory of birds and bats and more. In addition, work is underway to develop photomontages of the wind turbines.
