MORSKOGA WIND PROJECT

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Landinfra is planning to establish a wind farm in Lindesberg Municipality, in an area northeast of the town of Lindesberg and south of the village of Morskoga.

The wind farm is planned to cover an area of up to 1,425 hectares and is expected to produce up to approximately 640 GWh per year. The Morskoga wind farm could thus contribute around 35% of Örebro County’s required capacity expansion.

PROJECT UPDATE

The permit application for the project, including the related investigations, consultation report, and environmental impact assessment, was submitted during the fourth quarter of 2025. The project is currently being processed by the permitting authority.

Landinfra is continuously working on the technical design of the project to ensure the best possible design. In parallel, Landinfra is investigating the conditions for connecting the project to the power grid together with the electricity grid owner.
