SIMMARP SOLAR PROJECT

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Landinfra is investigating the possibility of building a solar park at Simmarp about 3 km northwest of the urban area of Vittaryd in Ljungby municipality. The park is planned to have an area of up to 221 hectares spread over a number of properties; Simmarp 1:18 and others. If built, the wind farm could have a total installed capacity of around 210 MW and produce fossil-free electricity for about 40 years.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE PROJECT

In December 2023, Landinfra met with the officials at Ljungby Municipality and the County Administrative Board of Kalmar County for a consultation. In January 2024, Landinfra arranges a public consultation via advertisement and letter.
