Landinfra is investigating the possibility of establishing a solar power park with associated energy storage approximately 1 kilometre northwest of Hyltarp in Svedala Municipality. The solar park is planned to occupy an area of approximately 24 hectares on the properties Skabersjö 26:21, 26:22, 26:23, and 26:24. If constructed, the park could have a total installed capacity of around 20 MW and produce renewable electricity for the region for up to 40 years. The capacity of the energy storage system will be optimised in relation to the grid capacity in the area.

In January 2025, an consultation was held with the County Administrative Board and the municipality. In early 2026, consultations will be held with individually particularly affected parties, i.e. nearby residents and relevant authorities.
